SEE GOLF DIFFERENTLY
Understand golf as more than a sport. Explore how the environment creates time for relationships, visibility, conversation and opportunity — and what you want to be known for when you're in it.

Golf And Talk presents
Be ready for where golf can take you.
Leadership and business development for ambitious women ready to use golf to build influential relationships, strengthen their visibility and create opportunities on the course and beyond it.
You don't need brilliant golf. You need to be ready to take your place.
Our Mission
To get more women playing golf, building powerful relationships and creating opportunities for themselves and other women.
Not fewer men playing. More women in the fourball (group of four golfers).
Golf And Talk
Golf And Talk exists to get more ambitious women into the relationships, conversations and environments that expand visibility, opportunity and influence.
Because when more of the right women are in those conversations, something bigger becomes possible.
More women front of mind. More women introduced. More women recommended. More women considered. More women leading.
We're starting with the fourball. But our ambition goes far beyond it.

What are the benefits in play
Some of the most valuable professional conversations don't happen in meeting rooms.
Golf creates something rare: time.
Time alongside clients. Colleagues. Senior leaders. Decision-makers. People you might otherwise meet for twenty rushed minutes over coffee.
Golf isn't the opportunity. What can happen around it is.
Who Corporate Golf Ready (CGR) is for
Corporate Golf Ready is for ambitious women building careers, businesses, influence and relationships.
You might be an executive, emerging leader, founder, adviser, lawyer, consultant, accountant or business development professional.
You might be new to golf. You might already play.
The question isn't “How good is your golf?” It's “Where could golf take you if you started using it intentionally?”
And your golf can be anywhere. Just started. Having lessons. Playing socially. Off a handicap. Already good. CGR isn't about teaching a basic swing. It's about being ready to play, connect, host and create the next opportunity, on the course and beyond it.

Why do CGR?
Sometimes she isn't invited.
Sometimes she doesn't know the corporate golf day is happening.
Sometimes the invitation comes, but she assumes she needs better golf before she can say yes.
And sometimes she already plays, but hasn't considered what four hours on a golf course could mean for her business, career or relationships.
When she steps away, she misses more than a round of golf.
She misses hours alongside clients, senior leaders and decision-makers. The conversations, relationships and visibility that can influence what happens next.
Corporate Golf Ready changes what happens next.
You don't need brilliant golf to belong.
You need enough understanding of the environment to stop worrying about whether you're doing golf “right” and start noticing the people, conversations and opportunities around you.
Say yes. Take your place. Join the conversation.
How Corporate Golf Ready works
Corporate Golf Ready combines business and leadership development, meaningful relationships and real golf experience.
Every CGR experience is built around three shifts: See Golf Differently. Get Ready. Take the Shot.
Delivery can vary across cohorts and organisations because the goal isn't to complete a fixed number of sessions. It's to become ready to participate in the golf environments where relationships and opportunities are being built.
Understand golf as more than a sport. Explore how the environment creates time for relationships, visibility, conversation and opportunity — and what you want to be known for when you're in it.
Become ready for the environment, not perfect at the game. Understand what to expect, practise participating alongside different abilities and notice how you respond when you don't know everything.
Put it into practice. Play. Talk. Connect. Recover from the bad shot. Ask the question. Make the introduction. Experience what happens when you stop waiting to be perfectly ready and participate.
On the course
Your Golf Guide is there on course to help with the things that can make golf feel intimidating, including what to do, where to go, when to play, when to pick up and how to keep things moving.
Ask questions. Learn as you play. Get comfortable out there.
At the end: you're Corporate Golf Ready.
Long term benefits
The experience gets you ready. These are the shifts that make it worth doing.
Know what to expect at a corporate golf day and feel comfortable managing yourself around the course. That way, you can focus less on your golf and more on the people, conversations and fun.
Leave with women you genuinely want to play with again. Need a player? Have a spare spot? Want to get a round going? You know who to call.
Don't always wait to be asked. Invite the client. Ask the senior leader. Bring a colleague. Use golf to spend time with people you want to know.
A weekday round can be time with clients, leaders and people who matter to your career or business. Golf can be fun and still be good for your career or business.
For individual women
Not coming through your organisation? Quarterly programs will also run for individual women. Register your interest and we’ll let you know when dates are confirmed.
Women completing Corporate Golf Ready may separately enquire about joining the Business Women’s Golf Collective. Collective membership is not automatically included.
The values that define the standard of play, on and off the course. Eight rules, no exceptions.
If you know something useful, share it.
Your handicap or job title doesn't determine your value in the group.
Another woman's opportunity doesn't take yours away.
Know two women who need to know each other? Connect them.
If a woman is right for an opportunity, put her forward.
Go. Ask. Play. Have a crack.
A spare place is an opportunity to widen the circle.
Professional growth doesn't have to happen in a conference room.

For organisations
Corporate Golf Ready gives women practical experience using golf as an environment for relationship-building, visibility and business development.
It can complement women's leadership, talent, client-development and professional-networking initiatives, while giving participants something most leadership programs can't: real experience inside the environment itself.
Also for women's executive groups, leadership networks, alumni communities and professional associations. Rather than another lunch or panel, bring your fourball (group of four golfers).
The timing
The appetite is already there. The opportunity is to turn that interest into confidence on the course, lasting relationships and professional possibility.
60%
of new golfers over the previous two years were women. Women are not waiting to be convinced to try the game.
Up to 125%
more likely to hold a board seat. A Singapore study found this association among women golfers at large or male-dominated listed firms.
91%
of women golfers surveyed agreed that connections made through golf can carry into workplace relationships.
Sources: Golf Australia, 2024/25 Golf Participation Report and March 2026 release (60%); Agarwal, Qian, Reeb & Sing, American Economic Review, 2016 (up to 125%); Wellesley Centers for Women, Women and Golf: Links to Business Success, 2019 (91%). The 60% figure covers on-course and off-course play. The board finding is an association in one Singapore-based study, not proof that golf caused the outcome.
No. Corporate Golf Ready isn't about producing perfect golfers. Women join having just started, having lessons, playing socially, or playing off a handicap. What matters is that you're willing to get on the course.
Yes, currently. Share with a friend, or borrow some clubs. We encourage walking the course, but if for any reason you need to hire a cart, this is done directly with the pro-shop at the course we will attend.
No. There's no technical swing work here. This is professional and business development, on-course experience and relationship development, with golf as the vehicle. Keep your coach; we'll get you golf ready.
Corporate Golf Ready combines facilitated business and leadership conversations, relationship-building and practical experience in real golf environments. You'll understand what to expect, practise participating alongside different golf abilities, build relationships and experience the game rather than learning it theoretically. The exact format can vary between open cohorts and organisational programs. The goal remains the same: be ready to say yes when the golf opportunity arrives.
Absolutely. Plenty of women are comfortable on a course and less comfortable putting themselves forward. The professional and business development work applies to both sides of that.
You leave ready to say yes to the next golf opportunity. If you'd like to stay connected, you can separately enquire about joining the Business Women's Golf Collective. Membership is not automatically included.
Often, yes. Many organisations already fund leadership, client-development and professional-development programs. Tell us on the form and we'll help you make the case or talk to your organisation directly.
Not remotely. The goal isn't fewer men playing. It's more women in the fourball (group of four golfers), comfortable in an environment where relationships and opportunities are already being built.
You don't need perfect golf, a low handicap or a clever answer. Just tell us where you're at.
